Our ancestors understood the healing power of plants: the ancient Egyptians turned to garlic for the heart, Greek physicians used lentils as remedies, Ayurveda treasured turmeric, Chinese tradition revered herbal medicine, and Japanese cuisine celebrated seaweed’s nourishing gifts. These time-honoured practices reveal what we know today—plants heal, restore, and sustain us.

My Story
My journey into holistic wellbeing began long before Sacred Nourish was born.
I grew up with my grandpa, a Chinese Master Chef, so freshly cooked whole food shaped my being and exquisite, clean cooking planted seeds in me. Cooking in my home kitchen during my former global finance career allowed me to embrace both well-being and deliciousness, without the pressure of a commercial kitchen. Having learned the art of cooking from my grandpa from a young age, my meals were cherished by guests, and I eventually became a 5-star private chef on London’s prestigious chef network. I’ve also had the honour of being invited to cook alongside Michelin-star chefs who cooked for the royal families at high-profile events.
Although I believed I was living healthily, a medical checkup once revealed I was at risk of a family-inherited chronic disease. That wake-up call led me to discover the incredible power of plant-based, whole foods—not only as a way to heal, but as a path to sustainable, vibrant wellbeing. A chance encounter also opened my eyes to the suffering of animals in our food systems, and I became vegan overnight.
This shift led to a magical new world: I immersed myself in nutrition studies, earning a Holistic Nutrition certificate and continually expanding my understanding through the teachings of leading physicians and experts worldwide—including Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Neal Barnard, and Dr. Tim Spector. Eager to deepen my expertise further, I am now preparing to undertake a plant-based nutrition course at a leading UK university in early 2026. Alongside perfecting recipes in my kitchen, these studies have helped me develop a delicate yet creative approach to cooking—perfect for wholesome, uplifting dishes. Today, I feel stronger and more vibrant than ever.
Through my research and holistic studies, I learned that millions of people are silently developing chronic conditions through everyday food choices. But I also discovered that plant-based nourishment isn’t just about prevention or healing—it’s about cultivating energy, joy, and resilience for life. True wellbeing comes from wholeness within—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—no matter where you are on your journey.
Rooted in my spiritual belief that every being is worthy of wellbeing and shining their light, I created Sacred Nourish to support your journey as well—whether you seek to prevent illness, sustain your health, or simply feel more radiant every day.
For me, food is more than what we eat—it’s life force, prana, and an act of care for ourselves and those we hold dear. Each time I prepare a meal or share guidance, I feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you and your loved ones. Witnessing individuals, couples, and families nurture themselves, awaken their wellbeing, and begin to shine is my greatest joy and privilege.

Sophie is a holistic wellbeing guide and health-focused private chef with a rich, multidisciplinary background. She holds an MBA from Duke University (U.S.), completed an executive program at the University of Oxford, studied design at Chelsea College of Arts, and holds a certificate in holistic nutrition. She will further deepen her expertise by studying a plant-based nutrition course at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2026.
After a successful global finance career in media, banking, and music, Sophie transitioned to the culinary world, running a London supper club and a food pop-up in the Cotswolds from 2020 to 2023. Since 2023, she has been a health-oriented private chef, receiving a 5-star rating on London’s prestigious private chef network and being invited to cook alongside Michelin-starred chefs for the royal family at a high-profile engagement.
Sophie’s approach is informed by her extensive self-study of the teachings of leading plant-based doctors and nutritionists in the U.S. and U.K., including Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Tim Spector, and Dr. Gemma Newman. In addition to her culinary and wellness work, she is a spiritual writer and intuitive healer. Through her personal essays and spiritual teaching, shared under her spiritual name, she offers guidance and inspiration to support others in their journeys of healing, self-worth, and deeper connection.
